Tricon Towers – Splendora, Hanoi
Located in the heart of the new urban area of Splendora in Hanoi, our first project in Vietnam is the ultramodern Tricon Towers urban enclave. Splendora, which is situated in the western expansion area of the capital city along Thang Long Highway, is a cooperative investment and construction project started in 2006 by Vietnam Construction & Import – Export Corporation (Vinaconex) and South Korea’s Posco Engineering & Construction. The overall development of Splendora is currently in the first of its six planned stages, offering investors and would be residents a tremendous opportunity to participate in the earliest phases of what is sure to be a landmark community.
At the close of FY2010, construction of the dual-level basement was well underway and proceeding on schedule. MVIC has selected COTEC Construction (CotecCons), Vietnam’s most prestigious and highly recognized construction company, to complete the superstructure which is expected to be finalized by the end of 2012. The project site vastly spanning 1.7 hectares employs approximately 700 workers round-the-clock under the supervision of a CotecCons professional management team and our Singaporean project implementation consultants.
The exclusive sales and marketing of the project is being implemented by the COLDWELL BANKER Vietnam team at the project site’s show flat office as well as in Ho Chi Minh City. Visitors to the project site have had the opportunity to learn about our project from the knowledgeable sales staff as well as by touring the three fully furnished show flat models built according to actual specifications by CotecCons. As MVIC and Splendora both continue to deliver their commitments, we are expecting even greater interest and enthusiasm from the market for Tricon Towers in 2011.
The Bayview Towers – Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province
As Vietnam’s famous landmark destination and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay has long been recognized a legendary natural wonder and archaic display of mystifying beauty. The local economy of the province has therefore been heavily reliant on tourism; however its close proximity to China in addition to convenient sea access is now beginning to bear fruit through multiple investment opportunities across other industries.
MVIC saw a great opportunity to join the development of this promising area with its second project, The Bayview Towers. Directly overlooking the majestic seascape, the design of The Bayview Towers was inspired by the famous “Kissing Rocks” icon of Ha Long Bay and formed into 30-storey twin fan-shaped towers. This unique design ensures that each resident will have their own breathtaking view of the limestone-dotted panorama of the bay.
In August 2010, The Bayview Towers Show Flat and Sales Office was officially launched. Within walking distance from the actual project site, the office serves as a sales and marketing branch for COLDWELL BANKER Vietnam while allowing residents to visit the project site as well as tour the two models built to specification by CotecCons. The project received a great deal of attention at its launch and continues to attract investors and residents as the piling for the foundation work is nearing completion.
Working together with our consultants in Singapore, MVIC will build The Bayview Towers according to the stringent BCA Green Mark standard, and the towers will be only the second project in Vietnam to receive this recognition for its environmentally friendly design and operations. The Bayview Towers will set a new benchmark for luxury waterfront properties in Vietnam.
